Microwaving Iraq
Wednesday, January 26, 2005Ever wondered what ULF, VLF and UHF radiation does to the human brain? Apparently the army knows. While reading letter sent to politicians and leaders in our government, I stumbled across this:
And you though nuclear missles were something to be afraid of. Large military powers now have these "poppers" in their possesion. The effects of these radiation generating domes are disasterous, causing:
While the mobile microwave weapons currently deployed in Iraq may or may
not lead to lasting harm, rooftop "poppers" and "domes" left to radiate
for days at a time are irradiating unsuspecting families already coping
with illness, wounds, hunger and the stress of losing homes and loved
ones, whose rotting corpses cannot be buried under the sights of marine
snipers.
A preview of what lies in store for long-suffering families in Iraq can
be gleaned from Greenham Common, where the British Army reportedly used
an electromagnetic weapon against 30,000 women who had camped for nearly
two decades around that UK military base to protest the deployment of
nuclear-tipped US cruise missiles.
swollen tongues, changed heartbeats, immobility,These types of weapons, in my modest opinion, are the types of weapons utilized that are the most inhumane weapons. War is no longer directed towards the enemy, but now the children and women of Iraq. As a Christian, I strongly urge my fellow Christians to pray for a quick removal of troops in Iraq. As an American, my civil duty is to voice my dissent about our government, military, and society. I believe that the war in Iraq has become an unjust war. President Bush has turned a manhunt into a war for what he calls "democracy." On NBC, I was watching the news about the election day in Iraq. Not only have 700 voting employees quit for fear of their lives, but also now a new political figure in Iraq is aiming to "remove the Americans." He is quite well supported by the Shiite Muslims, and could likely take the government by the reigns and again start the cycle of tyranny, replacing one tyrant with another anti-American leader. Mr. Bush has mistaken the goal of this war. The original goal of heading to the Middle East was to remove Saddam Hussein, and capture/kill Osama Bin Laden. Now that Hussein is out of power, the only remaining goal should have been to take care of Bin Laden. But, once again, our government has failed us, lied to us, and continued an increasingly unpopular war. My message to the President: Get Osama Bin Laden, and get out of Iraq.

In Case You Were Wondering...
For those of you who regularly read my blog, you have probably questioned the inactivity of this blog. Well, I have an answer. I've been photo-blogging now for a while, and finally found a template/blog design that I can deal with for a while. Feel free to surf on over to Halo Productions and comment on the pictures I take. I'm going to try to take some more artistic pictures, rather than just pictures of people. If you have suggestions for places, objects, or areas, just let me know. I'll make sure to give you due credit if I use it.
No, God Does NOT Hate Homosexuals
Sunday, January 23, 2005Thanks to Ashley for this topic.
Recently at a special event at my school called TGE Day (Through God's Eyes Day), I went to a seminar titled, "God, Hate, and Homosexuality." The seminar was very interesting. Although the speaker, Pastor Bill Young of the Salt Lake City Rock, had some things to say that I disagreed with, he spoke well and kept my interest. He introduced the topic with a DVD from interviews of people roaming downtown Salt Lake City. Many of them thought that homosexuals should have some rights to practice what they believe is right. Another view of some homosexuals is that they think that homosexuality is genetic, and cannot be changed. In some ways, I disagree with the theory that it's genetic. I believe God made man to want a relationship with a woman. It is blasphemy to speak otherwise. Although God created man to be as I mentioned, I do believe somewhere along the line, the person has been pushed away or driven to choose homosexuality as a fall-back.

On a similar topic, I think that homosexuals should have their rights, which include to do as they wish (sexually), to marry as they like, and to make decisions for themselves. Many fundamentalist Christians would say that homosexuals don't have those rights. Anyone who says so is a hypocrite. Where does the Constitution of the United States of America specify that? Also, they are being just as bigoted as the anti-homosexuals that rant and rave on street corners with signs about how all homosexuals are going to Hell. Where is the love? God tells us to love everyone, not just those who practice what we deem to be acceptable. That means homosexuals, goths, punks, and whatever labels society places upon people. It is completely unacceptable for a Christian to discriminate and use labels such as the ones mentioned above. It is a known fact that God loves everyone, not just

No More Spyware? California is Lucky
Saturday, January 01, 2005Fines for Spyware in California
AND
US Seeks to Fine Spyware Makers
With four new bills going through Congress to prevent Spyware, California's governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has finally accomplished something worthwhile besides persecuting immigrants. Through his administration, he has approved a law that is now in action in California. This law, if enforced, could result in the destruction of companies who persist in using Spyware to gain information about people and their activities on their computers. The fine for the California law allows someone who has been attacked by spyware to seek up to $1,000 in damages from the group that creates the spyware.
What is spyware? This page includes some valuable information about spyware.
If you know you have Spyware, Adware, or other Malware, I suggest you get Ad-Aware SE Personal Edition. It's a great piece of software that removes all of the above listed threats in order to keep your information and computer safe.
